"No Buts About It"
“No Buts About It” is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization whose goal is to save lives through education and increased awareness of colorectal cancer and the importance of early screenings among our Greater Dayton community.
No Buts About It, as an organization and 5K, was founded in 2008, with the first NBAI 5K being held at the 75 Sylvania Drive location of Dayton Gastroenterology. After that first year, it was apparent the event was going to grow too large to remain at Dayton Gastro's location, so the 5K was moved to The Mall at Fairfield Commons. The next years of races continued to grow in size, with the race being held outside the Mall's Food Court. In 2016, the race was held outside the Mall's new "Entrance A" due to space constraints posed by the updated play area in the Food Court.
2017 marks the 10th Annual No Buts About It 5K, and we are excited to continue the tradition of saving lives through education and increased awareness of colorectal cancer, as well as emphasizing the importance of early screenings among our Greater Dayton community.
All net proceeds from the 5K are used to fund screening colonoscopies for uninsured persons in economic hardship.
